Calvert City Police Dept. Arrest Report
Calvert City, KY (July 02, 2024) – On June 16, 2024 the Calvert City Police Department was dispatched to 71 Oaklawn Lane in reference to a complaint of a neighbor who is on the trespass log for that residence driving through their yard. While investigating, it was discovered that the same neighbor damaged a flag while weed-eating on another neighbor’s property. The incident was recorded on video. The Calvert City Police Department obtained a criminal summons for the offense. On June 28, 2024 Brian A. Bledsoe, 40, of Benton was served a Marshall County Criminal Summons for criminal mischief 3rd degree.
Paducah man arrested on charges in Marshall County
A Paducah man was arrested on several charges Monday. The Marshall County Sheriff's Office said 51 year old Anthony Finley was arrested on a criminal complaint warrant on charges of strangulation, assault and criminal mischief.
6 year old holds lemonade stand to raise money for McCracken County Humane Society

(KBSI) – A six year old boy, Eli Farris set up a lemonade stand to help support the local pets at the McCracken County Humane Society and Mcgansters in Paducah. “Yesterday I had a lemonade stand all the money went to Mcgansters and McCracken County Humane Society and when we had the lemonade stand, we got over a thousand dollars, eighteen hundred,” said Eli.

Patriot Run for Hugs Project of Western Kentucky returns on Saturday
The largest fundraiser for the Hugs Project of Western Kentucky returns this Saturday with the 14th Annual Patriot Run. The Patriot Run motorcycle ride will begin and end with activities at Four Rivers Harley Davidson off Husband Road and I-24 in Paducah. Registration is $15 per biker and will begin at 10 a.m. with the ride to roll off at about 11 a.m. Gayron Ferguson of the Hugs Project told West Kentucky Star that for each of the last seven years they have had over 100 bikes to take part in the run.
