Paducah man burned then cited after his vehicle goes up in flames
A Paducah man was burned and then cited after his vehicle went up in flames. The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said they got a call about a vehicle fire off Old Husband Road. The driver, 46-year-old James Wurth of Paducah, told deputies that his car caught fire as he was driving. He got the vehicle stopped and it came to rest in a ditch near Powersports of America. Wurth had to be taken to the hospital for treatment of burns he sustained.

Eddyville crash leaves one injured
Eddyville Police responded to a two-car collision on an intersection of U.S. 62 in Eddyville on June 24. According to a police report, 17-year-old Jacob Matchen of Eddyville was traveling east bound on U.S. 62 when he disregarded a traffic stop and collided with a north bound vehicle driven by 54-year-old Billy Coursey of Eddyville. Both cars sustained severe damage.

Calvert City, KY (July 02, 2024) – On June 16, 2024 the Calvert City Police Department was dispatched to 71 Oaklawn Lane in reference to a complaint of a neighbor who is on the trespass log for that residence driving through their yard. While investigating, it was discovered that the same neighbor damaged a flag while weed-eating on another neighbor’s property. The incident was recorded on video. The Calvert City Police Department obtained a criminal summons for the offense. On June 28, 2024 Brian A. Bledsoe, 40, of Benton was served a Marshall County Criminal Summons for criminal mischief 3rd degree.
