CAMBRIDGE — The Cambridge Police Department is investigating two shootings that happened over the weekend, the department stated in a press release.

On Saturday just after 4:30 a.m., police responded to reports of shots fired on Pine Street. Upon arrival, police found a blood trail, which led them to a victim in a residence on Moores Avenue.

The victim, a 19-year-old Easton man, was shot in the leg and transported to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The department says the victim was at a bar in Easton and was then given a ride to Cambridge.

Police say the victim said he heard approximately five gunshots. He also told police there was a "black style SUV" in the area at the time of the shooting. Police are unsure if that vehicle was involved.

    SUNDAY SHOOTING

Cambridge police responded to shots fired at the 1000 block of Pine Street on Sunday night just after 9 p.m. Officers located shell casings from the intersection of Pine Street and North Drive.

Police said they have not located any victims.

The Cambridge Police Department is requesting the community's help to provide information for both shootings. Anyone with information can anonymously call police at 410-228-3333.
