(CAÑON CITY, Colo.) — The Cañon City Police Department (CCPD) arrested a 34-year-old woman in late May after finding multiple controlled substances in her vehicle during a traffic stop.

According to CCPD, on Sunday night, May 26 an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at 9th and Whipple Ave in Cañon City. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Angelina Madison, 34, who was found to have a suspended license.

During the traffic stop, an open-air sniff was conducted by CCPD K9, Kasio, who alerted to the vehicle and indicated the presence of narcotics, CCPD reported. Upon further search of the vehicle, officers found 1641 fentanyl pills, 105.2 grams of crystal methamphetamine, and five grams of black tar heroin.
