Wine Spectator’s favorite wine list in South Dakota is at Morrie’s Steakhouse. The Sioux Falls restaurant has received the magazine’s only Best of Award of Excellence in South Dakota this year. Wine Spectator gave the award to 1,531 restaurants worldwide. Five other Sioux Falls restaurants were recognized with the Award of Excellence: Harvester Kitchen by Bryan, Parker’s Bistro, and the three offerings from Vinyahd Restaurant Group: Brix Wine Bar, Maribella Ristorante and R Wine Bar & Kitchen. That award went to 2,150 restaurants. The program recognizes “restaurants whose wine lists offer interesting selections, are appropriate to their cuisine and appeal to a wide range of wine lovers.”
