Weekend Outlook : The cold front will move through on Saturday. We will be mostly cloudy with a few stray showers during the afternoon. It will be warmer and breezy with highs in the middle 80s. The front will stall along the coast, and high pressure will be north of Alabama on Sunday. This will draw down less humid air.

We will start the day much cooler with lows in the upper 50s. Sunday afternoon will be partly cloudy and warm with low humidity. A stray shower is possible south of Clanton. Highs will be in the middle 80s. It stays cool Sunday night with lows in the 50s.

Football Forecasts : Auburn 2:30 PM Kickoff: sunny and warm with temperatures in the 80s. Alabama 6 PM Kickoff: Clear and cool with temperatures in the 70s.

Next Week’s Outlook : The week starts with sunshine and low humidity Monday through Wednesday. It will be warm with highs in the 80s. An upper-level low will move across the Southeast U.S. Thursday through the weekend. Each day will be mostly cloudy and more humid with a few showers. Highs stay in the 80s.

Tracking the Tropics : A tropical wave over the Yucatan Peninsula is forecast to move into the Bay of Campeche on Saturday. As it interacts with a stationary front, a tropical depression could form during the early to middle part of next week over the SW Gulf of Mexico. It will track northwest toward Northern Mexico and Texas. This could bring us some rain Wednesday-Sunday next week.
