New data has revealed the Biden-Harris administration's Family Expedited Removal Program is actually allowing nearly 90% of the migrants to stay instead of deporting them. The program, introduced in May 2023, was promoted to enforce "consequences for unlawful entry into the U.S." Since May 2023, out of 24,000 migrants placed in the program, over 22,000 were allowed to remain in the U.S., with only about 2,600 being deported, the New York Post reported.

PARIS, Texas – A Texas man is jailed for attempted capital murder after admitting to trying to kill his 4-month-old child by giving the infant gasoline to drink.Edgar James Bridgemon, 24, gave the child gasoline "with the intention of ending the child's life," Paris police said in a news release.When officers responded to a call Saturday in the 1300 block of Pine Bluff Street, they observed Bridgemon running off, police said. He was caught and arrested a short distance later.He remained jailed Tuesday on a $255,000 bond, said Terry Bull of the Paris Police Department.The child was initially taken to Paris Medical Center but later transferred to another hospital in Dallas-Fort Worth.The investigation into the case continues.

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- White Plains Hospital says a sprinkler malfunction flooded a wing of the hospital Thursday morning.Hospital officials said dozens of patients had to be moved from the flooded area, but everyone is safe.A sprinkler head burst around 7:30 a.m. on the sixth floor of the hospital's labor and delivery wing."Our staff worked together immediately to relocate our patients to unaffected areas of the hospital and all are safe," the hospital said in a statement. "We are currently assessing the impacted areas to understand when we can move patients back into that wing."The flooding and cleanup are impacting some elective procedures, and visitors should expect certain areas to be closed. At this point, it's unclear what caused the sprinkler to burst or the full extent of the damage. Stick with CBS New York for the latest updates on this developing story.

Three people are dead after a motorcycle and bicycle collided in the city of Victorville, according to authorities.Deputies responded to a report of a traffic collision at the intersection of La Paz Drive and 7th Street at 12:20 a.m. Thursday and discovered three victims, who were all pronounced dead at the scene, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.It's unclear what circumstances led up to the deadly crash. Law enforcement officers remained at the scene around 5 a.m. as they continued to investigate its cause. Authorities have not released any further details.
