Watch as man hitches brief ride on tractor trailer before disappearing over 10ft wall

A man hitched a ride on a tractor trailer but quickly hopped off and disappeared before police could arrive, witnesses say.

The incident happened near Spokane, Washington on Friday, August 30th and was filmed by several motorists who happened to see the dangerous hitchhiking attempt.

Witnesses say that the man was walking through stopped traffic asking for a lighter when he suddenly hopped onto the back of a stopped trailer. The man then rode on the back of the truck for nearly two miles on the freeway before eventually hopping off.

The man then ran off and hopped over a 10 foot tall wall before officers could respond to the multiple calls reporting the incident.
