Deadly game of ‘chicken’ leads to one man’s death, his friend’s arrest in Cecilia
A man was killed and suspect arrested after a deadly game between friends. The incident occurred Thursday night at approximately 7:00 Carriewood Drive in Ceclia, according to a report by The News-Enterprise. When Hardin County deputies arrived at the scene, they found that 24-year-old Abraham H. Valancia, of Cecilia, had died after being struck by a truck being driven by 33-year-old Jose W. Villalobos, of Cecilia.

PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WCHS) — A Pikeville, Kentucky, doctor was sentenced to prison Monday for illegally prescribing amphetamines to undercover patients, federal prosecutors said. Jason Stamper, 52, was sentenced to 32 months in prison after pleading guilty in a 2022 investigation where he prescribed amphetamines to multiple patients without a legitimate medical purpose, a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Kentucky said.
