Boistfort class of 1974 to be honored at alumni potluck

The annual Boistfort High School alumni potluck will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, at the Boistfort School lunchroom and gym next to the school on Boistfort Road in Curtis.

All former graduates, from high school or eighth grade, classmates, community members, old-timers and former teachers are invited for the event, described by organizers as “a fun afternoon of food, memories and the renewal of old acquaintances.”

“We promise you will find some people that you haven’t seen in a long time,” organizers wrote in a news release.

The class of 1974 will be honored for its 50th anniversary. A display of photographs and some of the high school’s annuals will be on display.

The Boistfort Alumni Association will provide table service, coffee and punch.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a hot dish, salad or dessert.
