Chandler has Sept. 17 Constitution Day events slated

The U.S. Constitution was signed on Sept. 17, 1787, by the delegates of the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia.

Chandler-area officials will attend a  Constitution Day event Tuesday, Sept. 17, 8:30 a.m., in the Chandler City Hall courtyard, 175 S. Arizona Avenue in Downtown Chandler.

The program will include a Constitution Day Proclamation, followed by invited speakers from the community, Constitution-themed activities and refreshments.
