PLNNING THE NE X T 24 HOURS: Though storms are moving out of the Madison area early Friday morning, lingering showers ahead of a cold front remains in the forecast though the morning before skies start to gradually clear through the afternoon. The rest of the day it will be dry and mild. upper 70s Friday afternoon. For the Badgers Game, temperatures will be right near the 70 degree mark for kickoff, and then fall through the night into the mid to upper 60s by the end of the game. Overnight Friday into early Saturday morning temperatures will drop into the upper 50s/lower 60s.

EXTENDED FORECA ST : Labor Day Weekend is looking dry and seasonably warm. On Labor Day Monday, temperatures will fall slightly below normal, into the lower to mid 70s. Early next week, some areas may see overnight temperatures falling into the upper 40s! Temperatures will slowly warm back up later next week, with our next chance of rain by next Friday.
