For seemingly the umpteenth time, the Carolina Panthers are silently adjusting the front office.

Adrian Wilson, the vice president of player personnel parted ways with the team in a move first reported by Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio on Sunday .

“Adrian Wilson will not continue in his position as Vice President of Player Personnel for the Carolina Panthers," the organization said in a statement to Pro Football Talk. "Consistent with our organizational policy on employee matters, we will have no further comment.”

Wilson's tenure with the Panthers was short-lived. He was hired in February of 2023. It was billed as a homecoming for the High Point, North Carolina, native who played college football at N.C. State.

In 2001, the Cardinals picked Wilson in the third round, and he played all 12 of his NFL seasons with the team. The accomplished safety earned five Pro Bowl selections, one First-team All-Pro recognition, two Second-team All-Pro recognitions, and a spot in the franchise’s Ring of Honor.
