Miles Bridges Fires Back At Fan Calling Him 'Abuser'

Miles Bridges is back to playing in the NBA. But that doesn't mean that fans have taken it easy on the Charlotte Hornets forward when it comes to his off-court issues.

Bridges pleaded no contest to a felony domestic violence charge in 2022. He was accused of assaulting his then-girlfriend in front of their two children.

On Saturday, Bridges posted a photo together with a few Hornets teammates sitting courtside at an NBA Summer League game. Included in the 26-year-old's post was a rather innocuous caption.

"Can’t wait for the season," the post's caption read.

One fan responded to the post by calling Bridges an "abuser." The Hornets wing answered.

    "Never abused anybody," Bridges wrote.

Another fan replied to Bridges with a photo of his former girlfriend with apparent bruises on her face. In a now-deleted response, Bridges implied that the photo was not what it seemed.

"Acne and failed lip filler," Bridges said in response to the photo.

Bridges is in the middle of serving his three-year probation resulting from his no-contest plea. The probation includes 52 weeks of domestic violence counseling and another 52 weeks of parenting classes.
