Madden 25 is showing the Carolina Panthers some much-needed love.

A day after revealing the Panthers' wide receivers and safeties ratings . On Tuesday, EA Sports released ratings for Carolina running backs and defensive linemen.

Here is how the Panthers stack up ratings-wise in both of those position groups:

Dec 24, 2023; Charlotte, North Carolina, USA; Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young (9) hands off to running back Chuba Hubbard (30) against the Green Bay Packers during the second quarter at Bank of America Stadium.

    • Chuba Hubbard: 78
    • Jonathon Brooks: 77
    • Miles Sanders: 76
    • Rashaad Penny: 75
    • Mike Boone: 67
    • Raheem Blackshear: 67

The skinny : Chuba Hubbard will be the Panthers' lead running back to start the season. Dave Canales recently gushed about the "angry" running he brings to the table. During the 2023 season, Hubbard had a career year – tallying over 900 yards rushing. His 78 rating seems fair, but it does sit on the lower end for a starter in the league .

    Panthers Defensive linemen

Nov 5, 2023; Charlotte, North Carolina, USA; Carolina Panthers defensive tackle Derrick Brown (95) and linebacker Amare Barno (90) react to a sack by Brown against the Indianapolis Colts during the second half at Bank of America Stadium.

    • Derrick Brown: 90
    • A'Shawn Robinson: 74
    • Shy Tuttle: 71
    • Jaden Crumedy: 67
    • Nick Thurman: 63
    • LaBryan Ray: 62

The skinny : Derrick Brown is tied for the fourth-best defensive lineman in the game, claiming a 90 overall. The only other defensive linemen better than him are Justin Madubuike (92), Quinnen Williams (94), and Chris Jones (97). It shows just how dominant Brown was during the 2023 campaign, where he broke records on his way to a Pro Bowl appearance. Carolina hopes he follows that performance up with being the anchor to a stingy Panthers defense again.
