Police: Wanted person jumps in water at Hopewell Marina to avoid arrest
HOPEWELL, Va. (WWBT)— A search is underway for a wanted person who police say jumped into the water at Hopewell Marina to avoid arrest early Tuesday morning. Police say they were called to the 1000 block of Riverside Avenue just after 2 a.m. for reports of suspicious activity in the area.

ETTRICK − Police have identified the suspect in a Saturday night stabbing at a southern Chesterfield County residence. Shaun A. Miller, 36, has been charged with felonious assault, burglary and stabbing in the commission of a felony related to the incident, Chesterfield Police said Monday afternoon. HOPEWELL − Arson is suspected as the cause of a late-night fire Sunday at a city-owned soccer complex/.
