NFL Great Shannon Sharpe Drops Eye-Opening Angel Reese Review

NFL legend Shannon Sharpe spoke out on Angel Reese following the Chicago Sky's 88-87 victory over the Indiana Fever on Sunday. After seeing immense backlash, falling to 0-2 on the season series against Caitlin Clark and the Fever, the Sky came out punching on Sunday, and it seemed to have impressed Sharpe.

Reese posted a dominant stat line with 25 points and 16 rebounds, leading the Sky to a much-needed victory. Prior to the matchup, the Sky were going through a bumpy road, notching a 4-6 record in the last 10 games.

Sharpe's high praise for Reese shows just how massive the game of women's basketball has become. Every game seems to turn into a heated debate or a major battle between top teams and players.

Reese and Clark are both vouching for the WNBA's Rookie of the Year, which should come down to the wire with the impact both players have made as first-year starters. From Sharpe's message, it seems he's currently the frontrunner to win the award.
