Angel Reese faced her biggest WNBA test in the Chicago Sky's Thursday night matchup against the Las Vegas Aces. Reese went head-to-head with WNBA MVP frontrunner A'ja Wilson, having to guard the veteran for much of the matchup. Wilson spoke on Reese's best trait following the Aces' 95-83 victory.

"The biggest thing that I see from Angel is just her speed and her want to get the basketball. I feel like you don’t see that from a lot of players all the time—that second and third effort to go get the basketball. And she has that in her," said Wilson, per Julia Poe on X.

Wilson shared high praise for the rookie out of LSU, revealing her speed and ability to find the rock helps her thrive in the league.

Reese finished the game with 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Wilson posted 31 points and 6 boards.

The first-year star has made a compelling case for the WNBA's Rookie of the Year award. Wilson thinks Reese's effort separates her from the rest, explaining that there aren't many players quite like her.
