Chicago Sky Star Makes Strong Statement After Controversial All-Star Snub

The rosters for the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game were announced on Tuesday.

Rookie icons Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark both made the team. And Clark had two teammates, Aliyah Boston and Erica Wheeler, both earned a spot as well.

But Reese will be representing her team alone. This comes as a surprise to many, as most Sky fans believe guard Chennedy Carter is deserving of a spot on the team.

And Carter seemed to make her feelings about the snub known during her performance against the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday.

Carter finished the game with 26 points in 29 minutes played.

This makes her the WNBA's only player averaging over 15+ points while playing less than 25 minutes per game.

Fans are using Carter's performance on Tuesday to assert that she deserved to be Reese's teammate at the All-Star game.

"The fact that Chennedy Carter is not on the all-star roster is bullshit. She’s not only the most electric player in the league but she’s also been ballin out," one X user wrote.

"Would have loved to see Chennedy and Dijonai in there as all-stars this year," said another.

Perhaps Carter can become a replacement in case of an injury.
