Sky Fans Berating Coach Teresa Weatherspoon For 'Baffling' Chennedy Carter Decision During Loss

The Chicago Sky fell to 9-14 on the WNBA regular season after being defeated by the New York Liberty 81-67 on Saturday.

It was a frustrating game for the Sky, which is proven by the fact that Marina Mabrey, Angel Reese, and Sky coach Teresa Weatherspoon all received technical fouls in the contest.

Not to mention that Reese's consecutive double-double streak came to an end, and the Sky's other top player this season, Chennedy Carter, finished the game with 7 points in just 16 minutes played.

And Sky fans are not happy about how Weatherspoon handled Saturday's game; especially as it pertained to Carter's playing time.

Some fans even want to see Weatherspoon get firing for her mismanagement of Carter on Saturday.

Others are noting that the Sky's rough stretch of recent games should be pinned on Weatherspoon's suspect decisions.

While Weatherspoon is clearly beloved by her Chicago Sky players, this isn't keeping fans from showing their frustration about the Sky's mediocre performance this season.

Especially considering the talent that Chicago has on its roster.

While basketball is a team game, the head coach usually assumes the blame after disappointing performances.

And Sky fans are surely blaming Weatherspoon after Saturday's loss.
