    Man critically injured after argument leads to shooting outside South Side Walmart

    CHICAGO — A man was critically injured on Friday afternoon after a fight outside of a Walmart on the city’s South Side led to a shooting.

    According to Chicago police, the incident unfolded just after 3:30 p.m. in the parking lot of a Walmart in the 10900 block of South Doty Avenue in Pullman.

    Officers say a 25-year-old man was involved in a fight with an unknown individual who pulled out a gun and opened fire.

    The 25-year-old man suffered gunshot wounds to his chest and hip and was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

    Currently, it is unclear what led to the altercation and authorities say no arrests have been made.

    An investigation into the incident is now underway.

    SkyCam9 was over the scene around 4:35 p.m. when authorities could be seen investigating and caution tape surrounded a vehicle in the parking lot.
