Chicago Sky guard Chennedy Carter was not selected for the WNBA All-Star Team despite averaging 16.4 points per game throughout the first half of the 2024 season.

Carter could choose to take this snub to heart and skip out on the All-Star Game festivities. But instead, the veteran guard will support her rookie teammate: Angel Reese.

Reese earned her first All-Star selection after putting up historic numbers in the first half of her rookie campaign.

Carter will watch Saturday night's All-Star Game — but only as a show of support for Reese.

"Watching for barbie and barbie only #WNBAAllStar," Carter wrote on X.

Reese is averaging 13.5 points and 11.9 rebounds per game at the midway point of the 2024 season. She will team up with Caitlin Clark and the rest of the WNBA All-Star Team as they face off against Team USA in a highly-anticipated matchup.
