Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese earned a spot on the 2024 All-Star her rookie season. Fans were thrilled to see Reese and her former college rival, Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark, play on the same team for the first time.

While Clark was named as a starter on the All-Star roster, along with DeWanna Bonner, Jonquel Jones, Arike Ogunbowale, and Nneka Ogwumike, Reese was not.

However, the No. 7 overall pick, who made WNBA history earlier this month with the longest streak of double-doubles (15), did the most with the minutes she had on the court against Team USA.

In the fourth quarter, with 10 points and 10 total rebounds, she became the first rookie in WNBA history to score a double-double in an All-Star game.

During her first three minutes of action, she tied the league record for the most offensive rebounds (5) by a rookie in an All-Star game.

Clark predicted Reese would dominate in rebounds during the All-Star game. "She is probably going to lead the game in rebounds," she told reporters on July 18. "I expect that out of her, that's just what she does."

As for Clark, she broke the rookie record for assists (9) early in the third quarter. Clark finished with 4 points, 10 assists, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals. Reese finished 11 points, 11 rebounds, and 1 steal.

The WNBA All-Stars, led by Ogunbowale's 32 points, defeated Team USA 117-109.
