Angel Reese's latest double-double was another one for the record books.

The Chicago Sky rookie already set the all-time WNBA mark for consecutive double-doubles earlier this season, and on Saturday became the first rookie since 1999 to record one on the WNBA All-Star Game.

Reese came off the bench and recorded 12 points and 11 rebounds in just 18 minutes, helping lead Team WNBA to a 117-109 victory over Team USA, which will represent the United States at the Paris Olympics later this month.

After the performance, the Chicago Sky sent a message to Reese on social media.

"We are SO happy for you," the team posted on X .

Reese said she would have wanted a spot on the U.S. Olympic team, but felt honored to get to play against them and wanted to prove herself.

"Coming off the bench, I just wanted to bring as much energy as I could," Reese said after the game.

The Chicago Sky rookie added that it would ultimately be good for Team USA to get a tough test before the Olympics.

"I think we've got to get them better," Reese said.
