Many basketball fans view Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark and Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese as bitter rivals, as though, both players are partly fueled by personal hatred for each other. But there was nothing that happened in Saturday's WNBA All-Star Game that gave credence to that notion.

In fact, they even teamed up for a play that went viral on social media, with Clark dropping a sweet assist to Reese in the fourth quarter against Team USA.

Enter former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III, who further dismissed the acerbic narrative.

“Caitlin Clark dishing out dimes to Angel Reese. Beautiful to see the 2 Top Rookies working together on the same team. Hopefully everyone can see THEY DON’T HATE EACH OTHER PEOPLE and never did. @Reese10Angel @CaitlinClark22”

Seeing Clark and Reese play for the same team, let alone combine for a memorable play, felt surreal for many people. Perhaps they can be expected to be on the same side again in the future, considering that they're likely to become first-time Olympians in 2028.

Clark finished Team WNBA's 117-109 win over Team USA with four points and 10 assists, while Reese gathered 12 points and 11 boards.
