Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese continue to elevate the WNBA to another level due to their mass popularity.

With fans fully invested, their rivalrous relationship dates back a few years to their college time. Clark led an Iowa squad on a miracle run, captivating the country's attention with her logo threes and flashy passes.

As for Reese, she was at the forefront of what ended up being college basketball's next superteam, thanks to her dominance in the paint and on the boards.

The two teams met in the title game in 2023, with Reese and LSU blowing Iowa out of the water and giving Clark the "you can't see me" hand wave. A moment that catapulted their rivalry into the stratosphere in terms of how many eyes it grabbed.

Following their legendary college careers, they were both taken in the top 10 of the WNBA Draft, with Clark going No. 1 to the Indiana Fever and Reese going No. 7 to the Chicago Sky. Their college dominance was a strong foundation for their WNBA success, inspiring many and giving hope for the future of women's basketball.

Despite only being in the WNBA since April, they have already established themselves as two of the biggest stars in not just the WNBA but all sports.

The rookie duo made the WNBA All-Star team, which saw them both help beat Team USA before they took off to Paris for the Olympics. In addition to their on-the-court success, they have also boosted the league to another level due to their mass popularity.
