Jonathan Owens Makes His Opinion on His Former Team Extremely Clear

Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens has been in the headlines a lot lately, and not because of football. It's because his wife, Simone Biles , has gone viral for winning medals at the Paris Olympics.

Owens was excused from camp to support Biles overseas in a classy gesture by the organization. However, Owens returned to the United States and participated in Bears practice on Sunday.

At practice, a viral moment occurred as a fan asked Owens if he missed the Green Bay Packers, the team he was with before joining the Bears. Owens gave a clear, simple answer, per David Peters Jr.

"Absolutely not."

Owens didn't hide his feelings and left no reservations on whether or not he missed Green Bay.

He was just there one season before signing a two-year deal with the Bears this offseason.

Owens spent four seasons with the Houston Texans before that, so he has bounced around a bit in his NFL career.

But his comments about not missing Green Bay might not go over well with Packers fans, especially with the storied rivalry between the NFC North foes.

The Bears host the Packers on November 17 before playing the season finale at Lambeau Field, so it will be interesting to see the type of reaction Owens gets.
