Angel Reese's Blunt 5-Word Response To Joining Unrivaled Basketball League

    By Owen Crisafulli,

Angel Reese is having a dominant rookie campaign with the Chicago Sky, and you can bet she's chomping at the bit to get back out on the court with her team.

In a short time, though, the 2024 WNBA season will be over, and players all across the league will have to find a way to keep themselves busy before the start of the next season.

Reese has already set some plans up, though, as she has joined Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier's three-on-three Unrivaled basketball league. When asked about the decision to do so, Reese quickly stated that she didn't want to have to go overseas to play basketball during the offseason to keep herself occupied.

Sometimes in order to keep their skills in tip-top shape and make some money, WNBA players will spend time playing basketball overseas during the offseason.

Reese makes it clear on several occasions that was something she had no interest in doing, though, which made joining Unrivaled an easy decision for her.

The Sky still have 16 games left to go in the regular season, so while Reese will obviously be focused on that for the time being, you can bet she is also looking forward to suiting up for Unrivaled when the time comes to do so.
