Motorcyclist injured in collision with car on busy local road

CHUBBUCK — A motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital following a collision with a car on one of Chubbuck’s busiest roads.

The crash occurred on Yellowstone Avenue near Linden Avenue around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday.

It appeared that the adult male motorcyclist collided with the rear of a car while both were heading southbound on Yellowstone. No one in the car was injured.

The motorcyclist was transported via Pocatello Fire Department ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello for treatment.

His name and condition have not been released.

The collision resulted in Yellowstone Avenue’s southbound lanes being temporarily shut down.

Chubbuck police and firefighters also responded to the crash.

The accident remains under investigation by Chubbuck police.
