Bronx, NY (New York Yankees App) - The Yankees bullpen almost blew another game with a shaky performance at the stadium, but the Yankees offense led the way in a win over the Rangers 8-7 in the third game of the series.

Giancarlo Stanton blew the game open with a missle into the left field seats in the fifth inning, while Juan Soto and Aaron Judge went back-to-back in the seventh to help the Yankees take an 8-3 lead.

What looked like a stress free victory, turned into a nail biter in the ninth as reliever Mark Leiter Jr. made things dicey in the eigth inning. Leiter Jr. gave up a solo home run to Nathaniel Lowe and a two-run shot to Carson Kelly, which put the Rangers back in the game 8-6.

Yankees will travel to Chicago to take on the White Sox in the next series.
