Four people hospitalized after car crash at N Marksheffel and N Carefree

At around 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, the Cimarron Hills Fire Department responded to a two-car crash at N Marksheffel Rd and N Carefree Cir.

According to Colorado State Patrol, the crash involved a head-on collision with two cars in the intersection.
Both cars involved are currently blocking traffic.

According to a Colorado State Patrol spokesperson, four people have been hospitalized with serious injuries as a result of this crash.

One of those people have been pronounced dead at the hospital.

Officials are asking the public to avoid the area for an unknown period of time.
