A man was found dead beside a Warren County road Thursday after crashing his motorcycle the night before, according to Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Highway patrol said Travis Wenzler, 47, was traveling east on a 2004 Honda motorcycle on Oregonia Road near Waynesville Road in Turtlecreek Township between 10 and 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.

A preliminary investigation revealed that Wenzler traveled off the right side of the roadway while navigating a curve and struck a traffic sign. The collision caused Wenzler to eject from his motorcycle.

Wenzler's body was located at around 11:20 a.m. Thursday by the Warren County Engineer's Office, the highway patrol said.

Wenzler was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

    The crash remains under investigation.
