A parade of motorists looped around Interstate 275 Saturday morning to express their support for former President Donald Trump.
People from Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky participated in the grassroots, two-hour parade and decorated their cars with Trump flags, posters and even a replica of the former president.
Organizer Ryan Stenger told The Enquirer Saturday evening that, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation, roughly 17,000 cars participated in the parade, but that is still a preliminary number.
The Enquirer reached out to the transportation department for further comment but has not yet received a response.
Stenger said in a release the purpose of the event was to "encourage each other, provide a way to show love for America First, show support for the police and firefighters and to support our president."
But a handful of those who joined the parade shared with The Enquirer what exactly compelled them to spend their Saturday morning driving.

"I participated because I strongly agree (with) President Donald J Trump's policies. I voted for him 2x and I will a 3rd. My 401k was doing great. My taxes were lowered. Our border was secured. No inflation. Interest rates were lower etc... I wanted to show my patriotism by uniting together with like-minded folks.

"I participated because it's such a good feeling seeing people come together and expressing American Freedom. Seeing all the Police flags, America-affiliated flags, and the original American flag was showing so much respect for our country, and adding the Trump flags shows who still believes in what America truly means and what we live for! Every single person today was SO kind and friendly and polite."
