Luke Bryan made sure to give a shoutout to former President Donald Trump over the weekend. The country music star was performing in Cincinnati, Ohio shortly after the shocking news of Donald Trump's attempted assassination took place. Fans that went to the concert were likely already at the venue, or on their way to it, when
Trump was shot at his Pennsylvania rally. There have been a number of country artists that have come out in support of Donald Trump following the scary, violent attack on his life. Jason Aldean dedicated a performance to Trump, Kid Rock donated $50,000 to the victims of the shooting, and Cody Johnson gave one of the best, most impassioned speeches about America that you'll ever hear. And you can add Luke Bryan to that list as well, because he addressed the shooting right in the middle of his concert. He didn't have to say much to get the crowd fired up. All he ended up saying was, "Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt tonight," and his audience naturally broke into a collective, patriotic "U.S.A." chant.
He also added, "I figured y'all would be happy about that... this is Ohio." They were... All Luke could do was hold the microphone to the crowd:

Pretty cool stuff right there. Luke later decided to recognize all of the veterans that were in attendance. What better way to do that than to cover Toby Keith's
"Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American)?" The Cincinnati crowd was certainly loving all of the American moments throughout the night:
