Motorcyclist killed after colliding with tree in Westwood, police say

A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Westwood on Wednesday, Cincinnati police said.

Christopher McClure, 42, was driving a Suzuki motorcycle on Queen City Avenue when he lost control of the bike and struck a tree, according to police and Hamilton County Coroner's Office records.

McClure sustained fatal wounds as a result of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers responded to investigate the crash around 5 p.m.

Police said McClure was wearing a helmet and excessive speed is being looked at as a contributing factor.
