Chase Brown Might Be The Most Polarizing RB In Fantasy

Coming into his second season, Chase Brown has accumulated 335 yards and 1 touchdown for the Bengals. All but 13 of these yards came from weeks 13-18. His best week was week 14 when he had 8 carries for 25 yards and 3 receptions for 80 yards with a touchdown.

That week, he had a 30% snap share percentage, which was the most usage he's had all season. Brown's snap percentage was 7 or lower in his first 11 games in his rookie season. In Weeks 13-18, it didn't drop below 15%, which still isn't high, but it does show growth in the coaching staff's trust. His increase in time on the field came without Burrow at the helm, so the offense wasn't as explosive.

Brown's lack of playing time was due to sharing the backfield with Joe Mixon, who recently signed a new deal with the Texans. This off-season, the Bengals brought in Zack Moss on a two-year, 8 million deal in free agency. This has caused the fantasy public to be nearly split on who the back to own for fantasy will be in this Cincinnati offense.

Chase Brown has become quite the polarizing figure for managers this off-season. Running within a high-powered Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins offense, this backfield is something to closely monitor in 2024.
