The Cincinnati Bengals have seen one of the biggest turnarounds in football over the last half decade or so, and it's largely due to the play and leadership of their franchise quarterback.

While Joe Burrow has always been a fantastic gunslinger, his teammates and coaches have noticed a shift in leadership and persona from him this offseason as well.

Mike Gesicki , Orlando Brown Jr. , and Zac Taylor were all asked by Kay Adams of Up and Adams about their quarterback and how he has evolved as a leader, and all three of them praised him heavily.

"I think that he's done a really good job just being himself," Gesicki said . "This is really all I know, but from what I've heard he's kinda opened up a little bit more this year and it's been cool. He'll have the guys over to his house, and do some things off the field."

"How much more open he is with dialect, with communication, making a silly comment in the team meeting or something like that, just being himself," Brown Jr. said . "That's our leader, that's our captain."

"He really never misses with any message he gives to a young receiver or the offense," Taylor said . "He just always has a knack for saying the right, genuine thing. It isn't forced, it isn't unnatural, it just is him and that's why I always say he's a national champion, No. 1 pick, Heisman trophy winner. That's just the way it goes."

If Burrow can take the next step both as a quarterback and as a leader, it will be a scary sight for the rest of the league as the Bengals relentlessly pursue their first Super Bowl title in franchise history.
