Kevin Saint Clair Scholarship Fund Created at Ben to the Shore Bike Ride
Last November in Philadelphia, Kevin Saint Clair was struck by a car and killed while riding his bicycle home. Kevin, a teacher and former National Team rower, was a beloved teammate, coach and friend. On Sunday, July 21st, a group of his rowing friends participated in the 37th Annual Ben to the Shore, a 65-mile ride from Philadelphia's Ben Franklin Bridge to Atlantic City's Showboat Casino. The group of twenty riders raised more than $33k. The ride benefits the Families Behind the Badge Children's Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit which Kevin and his family have long supported. Team Kevin placed 8th in overall fundraising - competing against more than 100 teams' and 2300 riders.
