There won’t be much of a pattern change this week as the weather will generally bring seasonably mild temperatures and comfortable humidity levels for August. High pressure will build into the region on Monday. MINNESOTA - United Way of Northeastern Minnesota is looking for mentors to match with local elementary students for this coming school year’s Lunch Buddies mentoring program. The program matches first through fourth-grade students with screened, trained volunteer mentors to share one lunch break each week during the school year. Lunch Buddies has improved participating students’ self-esteem, attitude, and school attendance.

Christina Westman dreamed of working with Parkinson’s disease and stroke patients as a music therapist when she started studying at St. Cloud State University.
