    Fourth of July fireworks in north central West Virginia

    CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — What better way to celebrate Independence Day than with fireworks? Here’s some places you can watch them in north central West Virginia.

    All events without a ticket price listed are free as far as we know.

    Saturday, June 29

    • Stonewall Resort is hosting the first of two Independence Day celebrations on this day. There will be a DJ and special menu at Lightburn’s Restaurant. Admission is $10 per car.

    Monday, July 1

    Thursday, July 4

    • Morgantown’s Hazel Ruby McQuain Park is hosting cover band The Jukebox Band with other entertainment starting at 5 p.m. and fireworks starting around 9:45-10 p.m.
    • Doddridge County Park’s “ Red, White and Boom” fireworks show will start at approximately 9:45 p.m.
    • Mannington is holding a celebration for its pool and splash pad opening from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 4 followed by fireworks at dark.
    • The town of Fairview is holding its Independence Day Celebration all day, but the Grand Firework Display is scheduled to begin at 10:30 p.m. You can read a full schedule of the day’s events here .

    Saturday, July 6

    • Stonewall Resort in Lewis County is holding an evening of live entertainment followed by fireworks at dark. Admission is $10 per car.
    • Tucker County’s only fireworks show, according to Tucker County Tourism, is being held in Thomas at the end of Mountaineer Days, which will run all day long from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
    • Palatine Park in Fairmont is holding its Independence Day celebration featuring live music from Wanted: The Bon Jovi Tribute Band with special guest Motorcycle Drive-By.
    • The Wheeling Symphony Orchestra is performing at the Clarksburg Amphitheater at 6 p.m. with fireworks to follow.
