Purse Snatched After Gun Threat In Walnut Creek Wednesday
Two people, one of them maintaining he had a gun, took a purse from a victim outside the Sports Basement, 1881 Ygnacio Valley Road, shortly after 4 p.m. Wednesday. The female victim was uninjured. Initial reports were that she was approached by a black male subject who told her he had a weapon and demanded her purse. The man took the bag and got into a black Mercedes with a black female suspect waiting behind the wheel. The pair drove away and were not located by police.
Hercules Police Arrest Three from Sacramento and Concord for Suspected Drug Possession and Outstanding Warrants

A man was found sleeping in a residence on Blair Avenue and booked for trespassing. The incident was reported at 7:41 p.m. on July 8. The reporting party said they had recently purchased the house and found the man sleeping inside. Police arrived and took the suspect into custody. The suspect told police he had been dropped off at the house a day before, according to Piedmont Police Captain Chris Monahan. The suspect was on probation in Alameda County and was taken to Santa Rita Jail in Dublin.
