Myles Garrett outranks practically everyone on PFF's Top 50 players list

Reigning Defensive Player of the Year, Myles Garrett achieved a high ranking on the PFF Top 50 players list. The Browns' edge rusher checks in as second-best, according to PFF. Only Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl Champion quarterback Patrick Mahomes, PFF's top player, outranks Garrett.

Garrett is one of four edge rushers in the upper echelon of the NFL's Top 50. Micah Parsons is fifth, Nick Bosa is seventh, and TJ Watt is 14th. There are more edge rushers in the Top 15 than quarterbacks.

Garrett registered 14 sacks and 20 quarterback hits in his seventh NFL season. 2023 marked the third time in his career that he earned Pro Bowl and first-team All-Pro honors.

Each season, there is a lively debate, especially among Steelers and Browns fans about who the best edge rusher is in the NFL. For the 2024 preseason, PFF has declared that Garrett is not only the best edge rusher, but also the second-best player in the NFL.
