Nearly 70 firefighters were on scene battling a large fire in multiple storefronts on West 25th and Marvin Avenue Sunday night.

One of the businesses was Gargano's Catering, which belongs to WWE Superstar Johnny Gargano's father. Gargano said the restaurant was his 82-year-old dad's life work.

"It is extremely heartbreaking for my family," Gargano said in a post on X .

The department stated they had the fire under control until they lost water pressure while putting out spot fires due to a water main break after checking for an extension.

After the water main broke, firefighters were forced to use hydrants that were connected to other mains farther away and relied on additional fire companies for relays, Norman said.

"That delay allowed the fire to resume and part of the fire building roof collapsed. Brick parapets along the roof line fell," said Cleveland Fire Public Information Officer Mike Norman.

According to the fire department, firefighters were on the scene for about three hours.

An estimated $700,000 in damage was done to the building, according to Norman.

One firefighter suffered a back injury and was transported to a hospital in stable condition.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
