Scotia-Glenville CSD mourns sudden loss of Glen-Worden Principal Nicholas Criscone
SCOTIA, NY (WRGB) — The Scotia-Glenville Central School district is mourning Sunday, after the death of Glen-Worden Elementary Principal Nicholas Criscone. In a letter to district families, Supt. Susan M. Swartz described Criscone as having a "true Tartan heart," citing his passion for his students, staff, parents and families, and his commitment to the Scotia-Glenville community.

Update: Lockout lifted at BCHS Friday, July 19
UPDATE, 4:35p: The lockout at BCHS has been lifted. Bethlehem Central High School is currently in lockout, Friday afternoon, July 19. A lockout secures the outer perimeter of the building. The lockout began at approx. 2:05 p.m. following an altercation between two subcontractors working at the school. The individuals are no longer on school property, however, the Bethlehem Police Department recommended the school be placed on lockout while they conduct an investigation. The district will update once the lockout is lifted. More information about a lockout and safety drills can be found here.
