MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) — The U.S. Department of Labor has approved federal disaster unemployment assistance for Vermonters who lost work because of flooding from the remnants of Hurricane Beryl on July 9 through July 11, the state Labor Department said Monday. Queensbury Red Lobster set to close before August ends
Queensbury, NY (WRGB) — According to a report from CNN, the Queensbury Red Lobster is one of more than 100 locations shutting down by Aug. 31. The CNN article cites recent court filing shows that the company is rejecting the leases of an additional 23 locations, including Queensbury and a Bronx location by Saturday, August 31. This put the total shuttered restaurants at more than 100 from the beginning of summer 2024. The chain will reportedly have around 500 outlets left, down from the 650 at the start of the year.
