Why this is the preseason College Football Playoff Semifinal Capital One Orange Bowl Projection

    - One rock-solid, dead-lock prediction. If this really is Georgia vs Florida State, it’ll be a weeeeeeee bit better than the 63-3 Bulldog win over the depleted Seminoles in last year’s Orange Bowl.

The thought is that Georgia will rip it up in its Quarterfinal matchup before dealing with Notre Dame or Florida State.

    - The Seminoles will come in on a wee bit of a roll. The ACC champion will get the 4 seed and win the rematch over the Irish - the early call is that they’ll lose the first meeting - before getting another bit at the Georgia apple.

The build up for a week before the game will be about revenge, payback, and how things will be different with a full-force Seminole team, and …

    - No, it won’t be 63-3. It might not be too terribly far off as the Bulldogs pull away in the second half. FSU will be okay, but Georgia will show it’s at another level.
