As Saturday's "College GameDay" aired from College Station, Texas, ahead of the primetime matchup between the No. 7-ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the No. 20-ranked Texas A&M Aggies, Lee Corso returned to the GameDay set to give his renowned 'headgear pick' for the game.

Corso has long been a staple of the pregame ESPN show since its inception in 1987 and created a tradition of donning the headgear or attire of whomever he picks for the primetime matchup. In recent years, Corso has been weaned off the show, primarily due to his age and mobility.

While the remainder of the cast explained their picks, Corso did not give a verbal reasoning for his pick but rather appeared off set dressed in the leprechaun-like attire, dancing next to the Notre Dame mascot.

Corso's overall record with his helmet picks is 275-139, but Notre Dame is 15-20 when appearing on the show dating back to its first-ever on-campus telecast in 1993.

Notre Dame will clash with Texas A&M on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET from Kyle Field in College Station, Texas, airing on ABC.
