West Virginia probably could’ve used the UAlbany game before dealing with Penn State - although the Nittany Lions are just that good and it probably wouldn’t have matter all that much.
The Mountaineers get a trip to Pitt next, but first it’ll work out the kinks against the Great Danes, who took out LIU 27-21 in Week 1.

The Great Danes didn’t do a whole lot right against Long Island University, but they 1) didn’t screw up and 2) won.
The offense struggled, but it didn’t turn the ball over, there was just one penalty, and the team took advantage of every opportunity to hang on for the win.

Not turning the ball over and limited penalties won’t be enough for UAlbany if the offense isn’t clicking.
The Great Danes did nothing on the ground outside of one big run, couldn’t keep the chains moving, and the Mountaineers should be all over the backfield.
