International Save a Life tour visits Colonie

COLONIE – On Tuesday, May 21, CCHS welcomed the International Save a Life Tour  providing students with a unique opportunity to experience firsthand the dangers of distracted and impaired driving through virtual reality simulations.

During the event, students were given the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge virtual reality technology, immersing themselves in simulated scenarios that depict the consequences of driving under the influence or while distracted.

“It was a pleasure to host the ‘Save A Life Tour’ here at CCHS.” said associate principal Melissa Judge. “The students had an informative and immersive experience using the organization’s simulators that were able to allow participants to see what could happen if they were to lose control of their vehicle while driving.”
