SEC media days are being held in Dallas, Texas, this year to appeal to the newly joined Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners. In previous years, they have been held in Atlanta, Nashville, and Hoover, Alabama.

Eli Drinkwitz and the Missouri Tigers were among the teams that stood at the podium Tuesday. The Florida Gators, Alabama Crimson Tide, Mississippi State Bulldogs, and Texas spoke Wednesday. However, Drinkwitz may have had one of the best quotes from SEC media days.

Missouri received a transfer commitment from former Oklahoma offensive lineman Cayden Green. Drinkwitz used the acronym "STI" to describe the value Green brings to the Tigers. Later, Drinkwitz explained that the acronym stood for size, toughness and instincts.

Green played in 11 games with five starts at left guard for the Sooners last season. He was a former four-star inside offensive lineman in the 2023 class, per the On3 Industry Rankings .

Regardless of Drinkwitz and the interesting acronym he used, Missouri has a lot of momentum heading into 2024. The Tigers won 11 games for the first time since 2014 last season.

Stars from last season, quarterback Brady Cook and receiver Luther Burden III, return in 2024.

Missouri opens the year with the Murray State Racers Aug. 29. Kickoff is at 8 p.m. ET on SEC Network.
